20th December 2023. It started with an idea. No grand blueprint. Just a thought – “Work with a few clients. Build systems that make sense. Learn relentlessly.” That was it!

There is a certain innocence in beginnings. You don’t yet know the weight of your decisions. You don’t yet know how much re-thinking you will do. But you begin anyway.

Less than a year from then, the idea asked to be taken seriously. We hired our first team member. And then, slowly, structure formed.

Our clients were loving what we did with content. The clarity, the voice, the traction. They didn’t want it to stop there. They needed the systems, the strategy, and technology behind the storytelling to scale what we started, and they asked us to build the rest with them. So we did.

Content. Tech Stack. Creatives. Strategy & Marketing.

Not as departments. But extensions of belief.

Starting #DTALESTech has been one of my life’s deepest joys.

Not because it is easy. It is not.

It is thinking. Re-thinking. Planning. Re-planning. Doing. Re-doing. A 1000 times over.

Celebrating wins. Absorbing losses.

Holding doubt in one hand and determination in the other.

It is hard work. The kind that stretches you.

But the weight feels lighter when you are surrounded by people who show up as their wonderful best selves.

Their talent. Their curiosity. Their ambition. Their humour.

We are a fully-remote company. And this, right here, is what a random Thursday evening looks like. An “unofficial” catch-up that turned into an hour-long laughter riot. ‘Coz a team that laughs together, wins together.

2 years and 2 months. And here we are – Big large ambitions fuelled by the incredible work we have seen to fruition so far, a few faltering steps as we continue to figure this out but with that unwavering faith, and of course, the best of intents and the largest of smiles.
