Creating, Sharing, Celebrating stories through Dance!

Following 5 years of teaching, Bindu Mohan started the Kadamba Dance Collective in January of 2023 with a dream of providing versatile and engaging dance experience for all ages, at all levels. Bindu grew up dancing in Bangalore and is very passionate about building a community aimed at creating, sharing, and celebrating stories through Dance.

During her years of training, Bindu studied a variety of dance styles – Bharathanatyam, Kathak, Indian Contemporary, with renowned dancers and choreographers from Bangalore. She also has many choreographic credits including works at Corporates, Universities, at local and national competitions, and has received various choreography awards. However, some of her most proud accomplishments are the many hours of educational training and certifications, that she shares with her dancers.
A multipotentialite, Bindu Mohan graduated in Engineering from Bangalore along with a degree in English Literature from IGNOU. She is also the Founder and Principal Writer at DTALES Tech, a firm specialized in designing and delivering technical documentation.

When she is not at the studio or at her firm skilfully juggling her passion and profession, she can be found reading, hiking, cooking for her family, or talking to the tree overlooking her window.
